2009 883 cylinder limitations

Well apparently, Harley decided to not allow new (2009+) 883 cylinders to enlarged to accommodate larger pistons for a 1200 upgrade. HD has altered the walls so it is no longer possible to bore out. CCW had to pull an older model 883 cylinder and retrofit it into my 2009 Iron. Seems like a bad call by HD and I suppose they did this to force more 1200 purchases rather than allow people to upgrade the 883 to a 1200... seems like an odd thing to do.

Dreaming of the Spring

My bike is still "under construction" at Conspiracy Cycle Works (CCW) in Dexter, Mi. but this cold weather is making me think more about the Spring and hitting the roads. Looking forward to the sights, sounds and smells...
